Mi Note 10 Pro – A Brief Review

Mi Note 10 Pro was introduced on 4th April 2021. The phone is powered by a six-inch capacitive touchscreen, Exynos processor and a reference clock chip from Samsung. The phone runs on the Linux operating system. Therefore, the device can also be used in the enterprise setting.

As expected, the product features a high-end device. The camera is one of the best in its class and comes preinstalled with Samsung’s Color Effects filter. It has a 16 megapixel rear camera as well as an Ultra Night Shot lens. The front and rear cameras are also good enough but not the best. On the contrary, the pixel technology used in the rear camera is rather poor. The battery life of the device may not last long due to the high drain on the unit.

The battery of the smartphone is also a little above average. It supports a large battery capacity of 1 hour so it will not run out of energy even with frequent usage of the microSD card. The Android OS installed in the phone facilitates the user to take pictures and videos of all types. However, the only thing that disappoints users about this handset is the lack of camera support.

Although the camera on the smartphone is capable of taking fine details, the resolution of the captured images is low. To overcome this problem, you can use the Google Image Assistant or use a good resolution wallpaper to get better image quality. However, even with the best resolution, the colors of the images do not come out clearly which makes them look blurry. This is the same problem faced by users of the Blackberry Playbook. Another setback faced by users of this smartphone is the slow performance of the device. The Mi Note 10 Pro does not boot up smoothly and it takes much more time to perform complex tasks like editing an image or playing the video. In addition to this, the camera does not work well in low light conditions. The device has a 108 MP sensor but its lens produces poor resolution.

The camera of the device is only capable of taking good quality images in dim light. Low light conditions do not allow the camera to capture clear pictures and videos. Users of this handset are not able to enjoy the benefits of having a digital camera with these deficiencies. The device is also limited when it comes to storage space. The decision to go for an amoled unit is one that should be taken after a detailed review of the product.
